| When we put a Blanket kit together at the store, we steam press, then cut the kit, then we serge around the set with a small serge to lock the threads in so no fraying occurs, then we hemstitch just inside the serging.

| If you have fabric of your own that you would like to send to have done in this manner, rather than order off the website the charge is $5.00 for a 36" blanket, $6.25 for a 45" blanket, and $1.56 for a burp. We will measure and charge according the size. This make the charge for service a $1.25 a running yard.

| If you want the hemstitching done and not the serging done the charge is $4.00 for a 36" blanket, $5.00 for a 45" blanket, and $1.25 for a burp. We will measure and charge accordingly. This will make the charge for service $1.00 a running yard. You will need to pay the shipping for both ways.

| I would suggest that you preshrink your fabric, especially if you use fabric from two different distributors.
When we preshrink, we just put the fabric through a rinse cycle and then put it through the dryer on hot. This is less wear on the fabric and the heat of the dryer will shrink the fabric enough.
